I was only interested in academic editing, as I had a term paper but wasn’t sure in its quality as I’m not a native English speaker.

Price Policy

The rates here are stated per word. Standard editing is $0.02 per word and a proofreading is $0.015. Writing starts at $30 per page. To sum up, the prices are affordable; however the minimal purchase for editing is $50. I had a long research paper in need of editing (about 8 pages), so that was not a problem at all.

Order Details

I was about making an order, but couldn’t find an order form anywhere. Having uselessly browsed the site for about 10 minutes, I decided to give them a call and ask. Luckily, these were business hours. I was asked to email them my document and requirements.

Quality of editingand support

After I’ve got the final quote, I paid using PayPal and was prepared to wait for 4 days to get my paper edited. Support is available on the phone and email. It takes them a while to answer the emails, though. In a due time, I got my paper slightly improved.

Conclusion

In spite of the good quality of editing itself, my impression is rather negative than positive. They brightly describe their advantages instead of giving the information about how it works and other stuff useful for customers, e.g. discounts, guarantees, etc. it would be ok if they had an online form like editing-services.org/ has. Now, I don’t think they deserve high rating.
